SCRAPERS-CHOPPERS

Fortunately, in the part of Missouri I have searched in over the years, a lot people do not value scrapers, choppers, blades, and other utensils, so they leave them in the creeks or do not bring much at auctions. Great for me, because processing the food is very important as I have stated before, so I value each and every item as I feel it is part of history.

Due the number of items, I have grouped them but showed their size by the small ruler in the second shots. The photos do not really how great it feels to handle each one, and how it fits in your hand, right or left. I would like to have shown closeups of each item, but there are just too many.

These are really nice and the larger item in the center, notice how flat and the patina. I think was used on large hides remove the hair and other material. When you place your fingers in the worked area you can see, it really fits nicely in your hands.
